A new start…

The post of today will be about Naturata. Naturata is a shop chain in Luxembourg (www.naturata.lu) where you can find organic food, organic/natural skin/body care products as well as natural/organic household products. You have several shops around the country and you can find the complete list on their web site.  Their story started 20 years ago when several organic/demeter farmers in Luxembourg decided to group themselves and create a shop where to sell their own products. Since then things have been changing a bit and today Naturata have special agreements with particular companies in order to provide their customers with a wider range of products. You all know that organic products does not mean that all ingredients are organic so shopping at Naturata should not prevent you to read (carefully) your labels. You will also find a great range of Demeter labelled products, Demeter is well-known for its intransigence regarding chemicals/GM ingredients…
The two biggest shop are located in Munsbach and Bertrange (route de Longwy) and you will find an organic restaurant in Munsbach. (Tried several time and strongly recommanded!) There is also a shop in the “Ground” where you can find a butcher and buy fresh meat.
If you ever go there I would recommend you to try the bread from “Scott” baker and you will never eat any other bread! I could also recommend you to try their demeter italian ice-cream, of course their fruits and vegetables, the tigger chocolate paste (far better in taste and ingredients than the well-know nut…), their cheese, but the list will be long…
